Pearls of Wisdom
I ask myself at various times throughout the day the question, where are we going? Not as one person, but as a collective people, as a species. Our kids can't read well, they can't write well, they have no idea of the concept of a personal mythology, they are in a very bad way. I am fearful for what may happen when I use my imagination and wonder what will the world be like when I am old and many of the young are in charge. The education system is dumbing down our children, teaching only to test with no sense of morals, ethics, they teach so they can pass the required tests, what is this doing to the children today and how will it affect them tomorrow.
Parents don't parent, don't teach, most of the parents have their own issues and disorders, I see that all the time. The level of dysfunction is astounding and frightens me more than any B-rate horror movie, We are like a cross between two things, Zombies and a Cancer, how do we cure these two things and move forward in a better direction than where we are going now? We believe in fantastical notions of gods in the sky, we go about our life of programmed destruction blissfully unaware of the ramifications, because we either don't care or we think we may be saved in the end by the man in the sky. Where is the sense of personal responsibility today? All I see in entitlement, me and mine, I deserve this, the people today seem so disconnected and out of sync with everything around them, we have lost the connection to our sense of personal power and the connection to that which is higher than ourselves is very screwed up.
