Pearls of Wisdom
![]() Those witty Greeks defined the crisis as follows: an event that is, or is expected to lead to, an unstable and dangerous situation affecting an individual, group, community, or whole society. I should like to expand on this definition in terms of psychological meaning and application, a crises is also a time, a unique time, at a point in our lives in which we can learn many things about ourselves, it is a time when we are most vulnerable and most naked, with little defense of our ego, it allows a glimpse into WHO WE ARE. I imagine a crises as standing before a fork in the road, we have a choice to make? What we can do in a crises, is too take that time and look deep withing ourselves, a crises allows us in our most vulnerable times to muster the strength to take a look into our deep thoughts and complexes withing our mind, a crises is a great opportunity to learn from ourselves, to learn from that deep person within the outer person. "The most difficult part is having the strength of will to self-reflect during a crises." Nuggets of Dirt
